The life-force has been referred to by many different
terms, depending on the cultural background of
those describing it. Some terms are deemed scientific
(e.g., electromagnetic energy) or not-so-scientific
(e.g., life-giving “stuff”), and others
have a more religious or spiritual connotation
(e.g., Chi, Ki, Prana, Mana, and even the breath
of life from God). Ultimately, we’re all
talking about the same thing. Like love, the life-force
is not easy to measure or explain scientifically.
But there’s no question that it exists,
no matter what your religious or cultural background.
